Aaron
Metz is a New Zealander with many talents. A firm believer in the
multidisciplnary approach, his combined background of knowledge
management, e-learning, multimedia, web-publishing, and network
administration lend him a strategic advantage in education. Aaron
has a passion for bringing creative ideas to life and identifying the
benefits of technology to maximise learning and facilitate higher order
thinking. His major research interests include; collaborative online learning, teacher mentoring, and ICT leadership.
When
not teaching and learning with technology, Metz is a keen outdoor
enthusiast. A certified mountaineer and scuba diver, he has
successfully summited several 5000m + peaks in the Himalayas and
captured stunning underwater images of the coral reefs throughout Asia.
